Privacy policy
Draft. This page is a plain-language draft and will be reviewed before launch.
AI Price Watch (aiprice.watch) collects as little as possible. There are no accounts and no ads.
What we collect
- Your settings (USD/CAD, monthly/yearly, province) are saved in your own browser. They never leave your device.
- Visit stats: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites. We see totals like page views, not who you are.
- Server logs: our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard logs (such as IP address and page requested) for security.
- Your email, only if you sign up for the newsletter. You confirm by clicking a link we email you (double opt-in). We use it only to send the newsletter.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare: hosting, security and cookie-free analytics.
- Beehiiv: newsletter sending and subscriber list.
These companies may store data outside Canada (for example in the US), under their own safeguards.
Cookies
We don't set tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner. If we add affiliate links, the vendor's site may set its own cookie after you click one.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link. This covers rights under Canada's PIPEDA, the EU and UK GDPR, and similar laws. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe.
We don't sell or share your personal information (including as defined in California's CCPA).
